Are you omnipotent? How would you know why "most people" have left the courthouse?
.
Does he have to be omnipotent to make observations and draw conclusions?

I gave my opinion about the biggest hater making an inappropriate thread on a day we should all at least try to be nice to each other. IMO it's appropriate to point out, you can disagree and I won't care.
No problem...wasn't actually commenting to you, but timing of our posts may have made it appear that way.
Your opinion is noted. Mine is that ignoring the reality of LJ's original post, and hiding behind "patriotism " or some "can't we all just be Americans today" is pretty offensive. It's only American if you and CG say so? How about you calling your Congressman to tell them you're tired of this kind of politics that prevents good things from getting accomplished ...that seems way more American to me.
CinnamonGirl wrote: Plaidvillian bite me..... Using 9/11 to further your cause is reprehensible. I was being nice about it but no more.
No you weren't. From the beginning you've argued essentially that your perspective is the only correct perspective. So LJ makes a post on 9/11 about Republicans preventing assistance to the people who busted their humps for their nation and you're angry at her? Do you really completely miss the entire point? How about being pissed at those damned Republicans!
You could have just thought to yourself, "hmmm...LJ's post seems a bit distasteful to me...commenting. at all only brings more attention to it....perhaps I'll just move along to a different topic. " But you didn't ...you couldn't ...you had to make a big melodramatic show of it all because only your perspective is the correct and American one.
And it's not my cause...and I didn't use 9/11 for anything.
You want to be real? Let's be real. This article was from almost 2 years ago. It was used as a weapon to try, I repeat try, to make Republicans look bad on a national day of mourning by LJ using the 9/11 responders on 9/11. Reprehensible. This post would have never showed up if it was not 9/11. Fine, that is all great then that tells me who you are. And the article was filled with inflammatory remarks saying Republicans have no soul.
Why don't you go down to ground zero and ask people who lost mothers, sons and daughters, and fathers if they want to talk about this today of all days?
Is it the article that makes Republicans look bad?...or reality?
Again...you're not as angry that the assistance to first responders was prevented for political purposes as you are that LJ made a political point of it on 9/11.

But of course YOU know how they feel about it, eh? You are completely clueless about your own presumptive arrogance.
Again, why did you comment on this thread in the first place. If you thought LJ was out of line to bring it up on 9/11, why not ignore it? The thread may have quietly slipped away...instead, you turned it into a larger thing just so you could get on your high horse...righteous indignation, indeed.
