Could you please state your position on why you like Obama other than the rich argument? I told you what I think and you don't think I said anything honest somehow.

No, you have not told me any specifics as to why one should support Romney for president, other than he is not Obama.

Printsmith has never provided a clear post in his career here. Renegade has at times made clear posts on his conservative viewpoints, but none that I recollect providing specifics as to why one should vote for Romney other than he is not Obama.

Even his latest post was to compare POTUS to a CEO that has failed and should be fired. Not exactly a ringing endorsement for Romney.

As to your attempt to deflect away from my question without giving an honest answer as to specifics for voting for Romney, I will gladly provide my reasons for endorsing President Obama.

First and foremost, he has been a tremendously successful at governing this country given the incredible disaster he inherited and the GOP obstructionists that have placed loyalty to their political party over the American public.

He inherited an economy that was hemorrhaging jobs by the millions, manufacturing industry spiraling down the tubes, a government that had grown by the millions of government jobs, a record deficit that was rising at the highest rates ever, government spending that had risen at the highest rates ever, two major wars, and health care system that was leaving millions without the possibility of getting proper medical care.

In 3 1/2 years, he has been able to stop the economy from sliding into a depression, pushed through the largest reform of the financial industry in 70 years to keep the corrupt and greedy actions that precipitated the economical disaster from reoccurring, something no administration since FDR has been able to do, pushed through the first health care reform since Medicare, something no other administration has been able to do, reinvigorated the manufacturing industry (first growth in the manufacturing industry since before Reagan) and saved the auto industry (with help from Bush), decreased the number of government employees, decreased the rate of government spending, kept tax rates the lowest they have been in 50 years, deported the most illegal aliens in history, got rid of DADT, gutted DOMA, thus improving the access to equal rights for a segment of our population that had suffered discrimination. Under his administration, the number of illegal aliens have decreased, the energy independence of our country is at the highest level since Nixon, the tax rates are the lowest since before Nixon, our troops have largely left Iraq, a plan with a definitive time table is in place to get our troops out of Afghanistan. This administration has in 3 1/2 years filed and won more than twice as many unfair trade practices against China than the previous administration. He has appointed two female SC justices including the first hispanic supreme court justice in history.

There are things left undone still. Unemployment is unacceptable, but I blame that on the GOP obstructionists who refuse to enact any of the jobs bills proposed by the President. I am disappointed in the lack of improvement in environmental policies. The deficit is too high, but that is largely the fault of unfunded tax cuts by the previous administration and two unfunded wars by the previous administration. The economy needs further improvement, but that is the fault of the private sector. The tax policies need to be adjusted, but the GOP obstructionists are more interested in their political parties than in the American public. More work is needed to ensure health care for all Americans.

These are just a few of the reasons why I support the current President of the United States. Can you provide specifics as to why you support Romney, other than he is not Obama?

Yes.

I don't understand, did I not go over a clear list in that post?

No.

No.

No, meaning you think she did go over a clear list, since her sentence clearly indicates a negative, and you disagree?

Trying to keep up with different tangents this thread has taken it just occurred to me that there should be forum software that lets you "branch off" from a thread (different from moving some of the posts to a new thread). That way, you could follow each logical branch and read responses that concerned only that tangent, like the roots of a plant.

Oh well. Sorry for the off-topic post. It just seemed to fit here since I'm trying to follow at least two different discussions.

CG did not give a clear list, or any list whatsoever providing specifics as to why she supports Romney other than he is not Obama.

Still waiting for someone to do so.

Ok, one more time. What are the specific reasons why you support Romney other than he is not Obama? The thread that you linked to did not even mention Romney, much less reasons why you support him.

It is not a difficult question, must be that the answer is the difficult part.

I will be glad to expand my list but I want to hear your specific reasons for voting for Obama. That will give me a better place to start from and see what you mean.
