You just create a new thread, and provide a link in the original discussion that spawned the tangent. It's worked for me on other boards.

I see people post this a lot and I have to ask, you'd turn our nation over to a cartoon character really? Seriously? And yes, a cartoon character running the country could do much worse than ANY human president, no matter what their political persuasion.

My question is on purpose, as I am curious as to whether there are reasons to support Romney other than he is not Obama. For example, is it his economic plan, if so what is it? Is it is vision on foreign policy, if so, what parts of it? Is it his plan to improve health care for all Americans, if so what parts of it? Is it his tax plan, what about it? Anyone?

Like I said just direct me to your list of issues and I will do the same. I am trying to comply.
