Mitt Romney courts Hispanics as an Oompa Loompa

You are not that stupid, CG. Do you think the crashing economy just magically turns around after 8 years of abuse? It takes years to recover. The Republican's policies left the economy in much worse shape than anyone imagined. It's a slow recovery.

I would love to really discuss without the mean stuff and ridicule. Even though a bit of ridicule as been fun when it is clever and does not have the constant mean tone. Just my opinon. Oompa loompa reference was funny when it is not truly serious.

Perhaps you could articulate the reasons other than he is not Obama why one should vote for Romney.

As to your "better arguments from conservatives", I take it you are referring to the serial posting by Otis and LGT?

Brilliant arguments by those conservatives.

Just watching the news and it appears Romney still has his "tan." SNL had a special Thursday edition and they did a really funny sketch about the hidden video, as explained by Fox News. It was a hoot. :like:

They have to play the hand they are dealt. It is interesting to watch the left flop around like fish.

Here's a photo taken by someone in the audience standing next to Mexican Mitt at a campaign appearance earlier in the day:

His tan seems to stop below his ear. Oompa loompa!

I read comments like this and I wonder what Republicans expected to happen as the nation plunged into what even Bush said would be the second great depression. Do any of you have any inkling of how long it takes to get out of a depression? Do you really not see where we are now compared to where we were when Obama took office? You think nothing has happened to improve the economy?

I expect leadership. Haven't you ever had a good leader in your life?

Is our economy not sinking anymore? Yeah, but that is to be expected. With over 5 trillion in deficit spending, stimulus, wasting $$ on green energy companies (where the technology isn't there yet), you will stablize an economy. The problem is, nothing has been done to improve it. Gas is substantially more expensive due to a president who doesn't like gasoline. It hurts our economy. He doesn't care. He has an agenda, "green", and doesn't care if getting there hurts Americans every day.

I realize he can't magically make the economy boom, but he can lead, and show he means it. He can make hard decisions, and bring the country along with him. He is incapable of any hard decisions, or of compromise. He is a chicago politician. My way or the highway. The only decisions he can make are "how much $$ to give to this special interest".

He said he would address the deficit. Didn't even attempt it.

He just panders. He doesn't lead.

Too bad future generations aren't here to see all the great things we are spending their $$ on!!

I've given you reasons, but really, not Obama isn't that bad of a reason. Obama hasn't lead. Presidents really have one job. To lead. Many past presidents understood this. They knew when to push, and when not to. They understood if they lead, people would follow them and trust them.

As I've said before. Corporations bring in a new CEO to turn the company around if they are flailing badly. If they are there 3-4 yrs, and the company has stopped bleeding as much $$ (this doesn't compare with our economy, but still) but are not profitable, and have no future growth coming, that CEO would be replaced. Obama has done all he knows how to do. Did he/Bush stop the bleeding? Somewhat. Problem is....he hasn't done anything, and hasn't spoken about any future plans to help our country. All he does is pander to select classes of Americans, and what he will give them. That isn't what we need. He is out of ideas. Time to bring a new person in with new ideas and give them a shot.

Not one reason??? This is but one example and I really don't have time to look through the forum for you but almost every post of renegade and printsmith has clear points. Seriously, I think we should start a post with all of our 'platforms' for what we believe and you should start. Because, I don't think I am totally clear on what you believe.
