ATF Whistleblower Fired in Denny's Parking Lot For Exposing Corruption
Special Agent Vince Cefalu has worked for the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms for more than 25 years. On top of successfully placing dozens of hard criminals behind bars throughout his career, Cefalu has received promotions and consistently positive evaluations. When he started raising his voice about ATF corruption and illegal wiretapping in 2005, things changed. Tuesday evening, Cefalu was asked to meet Special Agent in Charge of the San Francisco Field Division Joseph Riehl at a Denny's Restaurant near Lake Tahoe. When he arrived, he was served termination papers in the parking lot. Classy move. The exchange was secretly recorded by a confidential source. David Codrea has more:

Knowing how this administration works, he is lucky all they did was fire him.

Yeah... All that illegal stuff that happened in 2005-2008 was stuff some of us screamed about for years, and this administration... Oh, wait... Which administration was it that tried hiding illegal wiretapping, warrantless snooping, fishing expeditions into people's telephone communications, library reading lists & records, browsing histories, and email communications...

Wait...wait... It will come to me....

lol Doesn't matter, Obama's lame attempt at legislation was DOA. He is so clueless.

A smart President would have bargained with Boehner to get his jobs bill passed. Approved the building of a nuke plant in his district. The usual ways.

Same crap, different administration. In fact, your Obama just signed a bill passed by congress and the senate extending the suspension of civil liberties Bush orignally signed. Ability to imprison without charges, etc.

Sometimes I do agree with those Libertarians who say there isn't much difference between the Republicans and Democrats.

Brink of ruin? And Obama pushed it off the cliff?

2007-2009 House of Reps was 233 dems and 198 reps. Senate was even at 49 each with the independents leaning dem. Whoe exactly brought us to the brink of ruin? A lame duck president or the congress, where laws are passed? I've got news for you - it wasn't either party. It was their puppet masters, the bankers.

But what motive would the bankers have in creating a huge recession? Or did they not realize it was all going to collapse? Some of the right wing militia believe the Bilderberg types will bring down the economy to gain financially but too often chaos like that will result in the powers that be losing their wealth and possibly their heads. Royals being dethroned after WWI and II. Capitalists in eastern Europe losing their fortunes etc. Maybe it is a little bit of it won't happen to me.
