Didn't see no tko by Obuma like Rumney had in the first debate. Just a liar and an angry black man. Obuma definitely turned off the Independents. He could have done so much better.

Rumney won it on substance.

PAGES & PAGES of oblama's pouting, but only one picture of Mr. Romney, Amazing...

Who's the adult?

Well that does it. I'm voting for the guy who doesn't have as many pictures of himself frowning.

Oh wait he's the guy who blamed gun violence to single women with kids.

Replied by CinnamonGirl on topic Town Hall Presidential Debate Tonight
Candy's response this morning was weak. She said she was just trying to move them on to the next topic. That was pathetic.

What I took away was this. Obama can't run on his record, he keeps trying to use the mean millionaire defense, it aint working. It will be interesting to see how the Libya thing plays out. Candy obviously could not help herself and wanted to bail out the Pres. And it is too bad Romney didn't say more but Candy did change the dynamic by bailing him out. I will say this though, I think the focus should be on Hilary saying the buck stops with her and then Obama saying it was his responsibility. I cannot imagine how it feels to stand out there with 4 coffins knowing it might be something you did to get them killed. The fact is Romney should have just mentioned his speech at the UN that was 2 weeks later and mentioned that video. What is disgusting to me about that is that I believe the Pres actually caused these people to be outraged over the video and revolt more. Pressing that video made it worse and I do believe it was a coverup. The reason I say that is nothing they said during that time was making any sense. That usually means we don't know everything. I admit to being biased.

What I took away was Romney still comes up in the debates with something new every time. I heard nothing new from Obama, except maybe the immigration stuff. I wish he would have answered the gas price question.

I know I will get flamed for this but I really think Obama lives on his charisma. Just sayin. That is politics.

Edited to add. All Romney needed to do was bring up Libya happened on 9/11! Just that.

We could argue who won till the cows come home and I'm sure the arguments would fall along partisan lines. I'll just wait to see what the polls reflect from American voters as we head toward election day.

I wonder if anyone notices the little things like I do. One example of this was when Obama was talking about women's rights- he said that his grandma worked her way up in a bank to become the vice president.

"a grandmother who worked for a bank that allowed her to train men who became her bosses.

Who is higher than the vice president of the bank- the president of the bank? Is Obama claiming that his grandma had to train the president of the bank while "the man" was holding her back?

Dosn't make any logical sense!

Another thing he said while on the same topic- was that...

“She didn’t complain,” said Obama. “That’s not what you did in her generation.”

The insinuated suggestion here is that it's now OK in THIS generation to complain- to sue your boss- to pass regulation after regulation making it ever so easy to tie up the courts and harass business every time an employee feels she didn't get a fair shake.

It's not OK- policies like this are killing our economy. Should women get paid the same as men?- yes but not by passing dozens of laws allowing endless litigation and opening up every business to unlimited law suits against them.

First of all- grandma would have never become the vice-president if she had complained- if she felt entitled to sue the bank for this injustice- in fact she was able (despite the injustice) to work through this challenge anyway.

For Obama to say that he is not a government socialist guy- then turn around and say things like this, just proves he lies through his teeth.

We ALL find injustice in the world we live in- the government could spend all it's time trying to legislate and litigate a fair world- which will never exist. Short people, Fat people, Brown people, Gay people, Religious people- whatever! we are all different- and we all have experienced a bias against us- I know I have and I didn't even think of complaining or suing my employer.

I just moved on. I found employers who didn't have that bias. Today we are a society who sues over anything and everything- and it's killing our economy.

just a little tidbit:

Prior to the debate, CNN reported that Mitt Romney, a stranger to our nation's taverns, practiced sitting on a bar stool.
