Dang... Just can't keep a good phony outrage/scandal story down, can ya....?
Martin Dempsey, Top Military Leader, Disputes Benghazi Claim By Former Diplomat (VIDEO)
WASHINGTON -- The chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff said Wednesday that four members of Army special forces in Tripoli were never told to stand down after last year's deadly assault on the U.S. diplomatic mission in Benghazi, Libya, disputing a former top diplomat's claim that the unit might have helped Americans under siege.
Army Gen. Martin Dempsey said timing and the need for the unit to help with casualties from Benghazi resulted in orders for the special forces to remain in Tripoli. Four Americans, including U.S. Ambassador Chris Stevens, died in two separate attacks several hours apart on the night of Sept. 11.
Gregory Hicks, a former diplomat in Tripoli at the time of the attack, told a House panel last month that the unit was told to stand down.
Dempsey said that was not the case.
"They weren't told to stand down. A `stand down' means don't do anything," he said. "They were told that the mission they were asked to perform was not in Benghazi, but was at Tripoli airport."

"Now, more than ever, the illusions of division threaten our very existence. We all know the truth: more connects us than separates us. But in times of crisis the wise build bridges, while the foolish build barriers. We must find a way to look after one another as if we were one single tribe.” -King T'Challa, Black Panther

That's super! 11 months later... that's some crack investigating there. We should have given CNN authority to gather evidence since they were there contaminating the scene weeks before the FBI decided to show up. Move evidence the US is becoming weak in the eyes of our enemies.
Still can't find any proof that Obama lied, can they? Too bad, so sad... Another outrage-of-the-day to try to hang a political hatchet-job on...down the drain.
Was Obama lying when he continued to blame the video for two weeks? No? Just doesn't have a good way with words? I thought he knew within 24 hours that it was a terrorist attack (or "acts of terror" to be exact). You can't argue with the facts LJ.
Four US citizens dead, the Obama administration lied for weeks about what actually happened, and 1 month short of a year later the FBI has gotten around to questioning suspects. Most transparent administration in the history of the United States? And Benghazi is just one of several scandals facing this administration and the hits just keep on coming. Still those who drank the Kool Aid the first and second time continue to worship their Messiah, never questioning any thing the Emperor does.
I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.
