If only OJ had been denied firearm ownership Nicole Brown Simpson would still be alive.

Its a lot easier to shoot a person to death than stab one to death... And you can't stab a person from long distances, so

Your argument sucks Fred

Here is your problem VL. I am seeing more gun related problems. There is no doubt about it. In the last week alone, Denver has had several officer involved shootings and citizens are dying. But gun control doesn't fix the issue. If it did I would be all for it. We live in a world of CSI and Halo. It glorifies killing and I believe that society is becoming less shocked by death and guns.

The problem with gun control is that it puts the guns only in the hands of criminals. My two police friends are not in favor of gun control. They know. It may cut a few deaths from guns but I guarantee in 5 years we will have the same discussion about knives and bombs. I wish it would work but it won't. You are thinking emotionally.

Maybe if the Daley clan would restore law-abiding citizens their Second Amendment rights in and around Chicago and the rest of the state, some of this crime could be reduced, since the criminals wouldn’t be the only ones carrying guns!

CG gun deaths keep declining in the US despite many more guns being bought and legal concealed carry. I think the news just gives shooting crimes more air time. Example: Washington DC murderer halved. And NYC actually had a day last month with no crime deaths.
