The president of the NRA says Belcher's girlfriend should have been armed. So that's the type of society the NRA envisions? One where we all have to pack heat 24 hours a day, just in case we need to shoot it out with a loved one. I prefer one where we act like civilized human beings.

I certainly don't agree with that. Blaming the victim?

:rofl what'a ridiculous statment...A shootout with your wife, I can hear the defense
"I was just a little quicker on the draw your honor"

Let's look at it this way. A dog was even shot this week and there was shooting after shooting this week involving officers. It is getting worse. That dog should not have been shot. He was restrained and they still shot him. So, what do you say about police shooting? It is not an easy issue to fix.
What really upsets me are the kids that shoot themselves accidentally. I grew up in Craig. Guns every where. The only people that shot themselves were the flatlanders that came from the city. Why? Because we respected guns. In school it was mandatory to get a gun safety certificate and I got one when I was 11. I never hunted but I did shoot guns as a kid. Education and respect is way better than banning. Gun control is not the answer. And if you don't know anything about gun ownership and research the whole issue your complaints are soft. Costas was parroting someone else. Does he know anything? I doubt it but still his last words were wrong.
Well, that Lakewood cop that was shot n killed not long ago did shoot a teenager in the back last year, and killed him...So that was justice being served in my opinion.
Well, this week the cops killed a man in his home with a machete. I was appalled because it was a gun against something that you can walk away from. He died.
