I sell and go to alot of them.

Tanner very clearly restricts open carry and requires all to secure their weapons by unloading and securing the firing pin before entry.

From their website:

For safety reasons, absolutely NO loaded guns are allowed in the show. This includes concealed carry permit holders

Dog, you kinda sound like a know it all 4th grader.

You can say they are not allowed and against the rules all you want, the issue is do they get in, and beyond that, what violence comes of it.

If there are no metal detectors or strip and cavity searches, then it would be naive (NATIVE without the T) to assume that these folks are not armed. Rules are just what someone says you should do, not what happens.

Raees, since you are good at finding info, can we list the nations largest killers for today in order. I am curious where shootings that could have been avoided with the new proposed laws would fall. Without such info, saying 3 accidental shooting or any shootings is kinda meaningless. Like today we lost somewhere around 120 people on our roads. I think on average there are a dozen of train car collisions per day. So why don't we focus on the relatively few trains going around each day or even the relatively few train intersections vs. the 300,000,000 guns? I am curious if those that want gun control just want it for the sake of it or if they want to help stop people from getting hurt? If it is the later, why are we not focusing on the stuff that hurts people far more than guns before we get to guns, even if we are going to get to guns eventually. What gives? Isn't this like planning the big Sunday feast and forgetting to cook the kids dinner today?

There is one cool thing about any new legislative law or executive order, if it does not comply with the Constitution, it is actually not even a law and it is a bigger infraction of the law to enforce it.

Clearly by the gun show shootings listed above certain rules and laws are ignored and disobeyed. Too many in government believe a passed law solves problems. Even Joe Biden admitted current gun laws weren't being enforced. Just more laws to ignore?

So much for the idea of all of the gun owners taking on a shooter (particularly at a gun show).

Dixie Gun and Knife Show attendees bolted, with at least one woman wiping out in the frenetic scene, after gunfire rang out around 1 p.m., as seen on video captured by CNN affiliate WRAL.
Police later explained that a a 36-year-old man from Wilmington, North Carolina, was unfastening the case of his 12-gauge shotgun on a table near the show entrance when it accidentally discharged. The man planned to sell the shotgun at the show.

So in response to Martins claim that he often open carries his firearms at the Tanner Gun show, this is taken directly from the only NRA endorsed insurance carrier for gun shows:

This quotation is provided with the understanding that all ammunition will remain in sealed containers
during all insured gun shows and that the following actions or activities are prohibited at all insured gun
shows unless specifically approved in writing by the Company:
• Sale or service of alcohol
• Concealed weapons on the premises
with or without concealed carry
permits for anyone other than police,
law enforcement or hired security
• Presence of loaded firearms
• Gunsmith or reloading work during shows
• Display or storage of black powder
• Display or sales of any illegal firearms or ammunition
• Magazines or clips on the premises
for anyone other than police law
enforcement or hired security
• Display or storage of more than 5 pounds of Pyrodex

Please note that the Gun Show Coverage Form specifically excludes all “Occurrences” from any
action or activity described above or any “occurrences” from exposures that were misrepresented
within this application

Just a thought.....maybe moving an entire thread to the Ring is better than taking posts out of it and moving them to the Ring......this whole new moderation style is getting really annoying.

I don't have a problem with the moderation. I like reading the Courthouse thread and don't have to bother wading thru the snark/arrogance/name calling/whatever stuff that gets separated out into the Ring version.
