You're welcome! :rainbowheart:

"Now, more than ever, the illusions of division threaten our very existence. We all know the truth: more connects us than separates us. But in times of crisis the wise build bridges, while the foolish build barriers. We must find a way to look after one another as if we were one single tribe.” -King T'Challa, Black Panther

Interesting that this guy has been able to elude law enforcement for this long. Obviously his background and training is helping him but having surrendered to and accepting the idea that this episode will end in his death makes him more dangerous than the average nut job. The premeditated nature of this guys actions suggests that he has cached weapons, ammo, and other supplies in the area.

What if he has pulled off the ultimate switcheroo? Publish a manifesto that says he's dedicated to killing until he is killed but at the same time stage transportation and funds that allow him to escape? Not the most likely scenario but maybe a possibility...

I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.

We Americans have recall as a populace consistent with 30 minute mass media pop comedies and one minute booze and boob commercials. Eric Rudolph was "missing" for seven years....I had a cabin near Murphy NC and the locals I am sure hid him from the feds all that time. The FEDS built a compound in the area and the black hawks were flying.....reportedly over $100M in todays $$$ were spent......and a fluke finding turned hil up.' AFTER the FEDS gave up. Police, especially today, are despised by a large portion of the people......recall Robin Hood, Billy The KId, American Freedon Fighters, Rodney King Beating, and OJ........OJ got off because the jury hated LAPD (wonder why???). The burden to gain respect and credibility lies with the police.......here in CO the head of CHP retired in January and Denver Police Department is in court for brutality.....and the Sheriff of Arapaho County.....well that was last year. AND just for grins the FEDS want your guns and drones with hellfires patroling your neighborhood. Just food for thought
as fleeting as that may be. THE SECOND is for our protection from despots and their operatives.......simple.

Just as the AG has promulgated (leaked, issued, pronounced....matters little) the memo addressing murdering American Citizens without due process, so the FEDS have circumvented the separation of police forces and military forces.....we have created para military police embedded in almost all cities, counties and hamlets in America. They are not strictly military but in levels of training, equipment, and indoctrination they are in every sense of the word. This is precisely why the founders created the second amendment.....precisely.

Recall Posse Comitatus.......created post 1865 when the South was occupied by FEDS and for essentially 50 years had a police state fully operational in much of the nation using military forces.

A summary (Act of Congress is operative):

Whoever, except in cases and under circumstances expressly authorized by the Constitution or Act of Congress, willfully uses any part of the Army or the Air Force as a posse comitatus or otherwise to execute the laws shall be fined not more than $10,000 or imprisoned not more than two years, or both.
Congress passed the Posse Comitatus Act in 1878 to end military occupation of the defeated Southern states during the Reconstruction period. Southern Democrats had complained bitterly about the oppressive use of the military in a law enforcement role. The Act incorporates a founding American principle of keeping the nation's military forces separate from and subordinate to the "Civil Power.''
The Act embodies the long-standing principle in Anglo-American law that there should be a total separation of military from civil law enforcement. As one southern Senator stated during debates over the Act, "whenever you conclude that it is right to use the Army to...discharge those duties that belong to civil officers and to the citizens, then you have given up the character of your Government; it is no longer a government for liberty...it has become a government of force.''

This has been circumvented......we can simply terminate it by defunding the FED programs supporting morphing police to military forces. BTW McCain wants to get the drone program out of civilian hands.........put it in the military environ..... a wise decision.....if not all too soon a local cop will misuse the tech......they always have. :coffee-News:

Kidnapped and bound a couple before stealng their car? But it sounds like a couple of deputies have been shot and the police radios are going offline to protect themselves.
