And now hunters, fishermen & skiers will visit neighboring free states over Colorado. Downside? The rural counties of Colorado who depend on tourism will suffer while the elites of Denver and Boulder won't feel the drop in visits.

TO ADD INSULT TO THIS COLORADO LIBERAL WET DREAM.......THE SENATE WILL NOT PASS GUN LEGISLATION WITH ANY TEETH. That is now assured....both background checks and magazines are essentially dead (are not enforcable of course). Obama Cakes will be here today to use the local fools as a PR gimic to try to change this wise course.....the founders will prevail. The conservaztives will take the CO legislature back 2014 as a consequence.....blowback started. We will also get rid of the teflon Gov at the polls IF he has the guts to stand......

Yeah, taking back the presidency from Obama; and control of the Colorado House of Representatives worked so well for you last time...

Yep, the 4-8% of the radical gun-nuts are gonna whip it on the 60+ of Coloradans that are FOR reasonable gun-control laws...

Rave on....

I'm curious, why would skiers and fishermen go elsewhere due to gun laws?

I'm seeing a lot of stories about how this company and that company are leaving CO due to the changes, and yes, that does hurt employment here, but does anyone think that it's going to hurt the US economy, or even CO's economy in the big picture, if they merely move to another state? Isn't it likely that someone will move in to fill the void because it's not like these laws are all that restrictive and will harm business - the ones who are moving are for philosophical/political statements more than anything - it's not like they sell only to CO gun owners? Just wondering...

Some gun people are also skiers and fisherman. Anti-gun legislation is pretty rare in the center of the nation so Colorado going blue is seen as a big loss. To a certain extent, I think the Colorado boycott threats are bluster, but if they do decide to go to Wyoming for hunting and Utah for skiing and Montana for fishing, they might just find they like it better and never return.

Wow... That must represent at least 12 people... If they find they "like it better" for no other reason than reasonable gun-control laws, then....
