No one doubts the punitive nature of the government shutdown, the GOP has made it very clear that until they get their way this country will suffer, this economy will suffer, and the American people will know the full force of their wrath.

In a recent poll taken 78% of Americans blame the Republicans for the shut down...I just wonder what planet the other 22% have been living on

Archer, read up on your history. It is called checks and balances. Your boy Tip O'Neill, Speaker of the House in the 1980's shut down the government 8 times in six years. It is a mean the House uses to prevent a majority stifling the rights of minorities. What did Reagan do? He negotiated. What does Obama do? He whines to hand picked crowds of followers.

Since Obama's approval ratings are down to 39% and the majority of people don't want Obamacare, maybe the TEA Party is the will of the people. And they only want to delay it a year and the way the exchanges are failing already, a one year delay sounds good to me.
Obama already permits businesses to wait one year, why not give everyone the same rules?
