What pulpit do you preach from?

That is not even close to Leviticus 5:12 sometimes it is important to be relevant.

Sometimes it's important not to be so dense.

What Bob does is simply trolling, not honest debate.

Yet Bob recently posted a new thread entitled "Racist Republicans" that was directed to Arkansas Republicans hosting a coon dinner.
I failed to see how that related to education reform or to government grabbing power, or how that was from a "respected site" making a "reasoned point". I queried him as to whether he was stating that the Republicans were racist simply because they were Republicans or was it only Arkansas Republicans that were racist. As with most of his threads, he refused to reply or defend his post. I can see no valid point being made with his post nor any reasoned point that he was trying to make. Either Bob believes that Republicans are inherently racist, or Bob is using "coon" as the dated hate racial slur and thought that he was making a "funny" post by is conflating that dated hate term for African Americans with the main entree for a group of southern Republicans. Either way, his thread amounted to a hate piece either directed at Republicans or at African-Americans or both.

I find such posts to be vile and disgusting.

So Bob, please explain your reasoning for posting your thread "racist republicans" with a cut and paste about Arkansas Republicans hosting a dinner with coon as the entree? Are you claiming that all Republicans are racist, southern Republicans are racist, or for some reason you find it humerous that Republicans would be serving an entree which has a name that is used as a hateful racial slur? Which is it? I did not find it relevant to education reform or to government grabbing power. I did not see the "reasoned point" that you claim that your posts make. Please explain it if it does not fall with in the "right wing hate box".

You posted it for a reason. What is it?

Gawd Dog, you need to lighten up a bit...

First of all, you clearly didn't read Bob's article since it wasn't "about Arkansas Republicans hosting a dinner", it was about a dinner started by Democrats (hey, Bill Clinton has attended it) which more Republicans were starting to attend (plus people from other states all the way up to Maine).

I can't read Bob's mind, but the way I interpreted it was he was being sarcastic in his title by implying Democrats would find it "racist" or vile if Republican hosted such a dinner, even though Democrats have hosted it for years.

And you kind of proved it in your reply...

I think you've been punked.

And if you are so upset about cut and paste jobs, why don't you also attack LJ? At least Bob rarely attacks anyone here, but she constantly lumps together and calls anyone who disagrees with her a "teabagger". And Bob cuts and pastes about a far wider range of subjects than LJ ever did. Hey I don't agree about all of them, but some are interesting. And I personally prefer that people comment on their cut and paste, but that's just me

And this is one of the funniest things I've seen you post in awhile...

Something the Dog Said wrote: Really Bob? I find it sad that you, Fred, Rick, W**** have nothing more to do in life that serially post every few minutes in this forum.

Hey Dog, do I need to remind you that you have 3100 posts here? Hypocrite much?

Bob has obviously gotten under STDS's skin. It isn't that hard to do sometimes if you are on the opposite end of the political spectrum. What I find disgusting and vile is that the government, such as it is, is absolutely responsible for this political divide that so irritates us. They have given our economy to the bankers (read robber barons and the highest bidders). They have allowed all of our information streams to be controlled by very few so the news that we see is run through a filter. They have invested huge sums of money into keeping and feeding the political divide between right and left. I guess if we are mad at each other, we are easier to control. They keep a chicken in every pot so that we are fat and happy, but not free.

Too bad Bob does not have the courage to answer the question as to why he felt it necessary to start a thread about "racist republicans" about a cut and paste article about politicians having a dinner with an entree of coon. The article did not discuss race, the only reference to race was by Bob. Why did he feel republicans are racist for dining on coon?

sar·casm
noun \ˈsär-ˌka-zəm\

Full Definition of SARCASM

1: a sharp and often satirical or ironic utterance designed to cut or give pain

2: a mode of satirical wit depending for its effect on bitter, caustic, and often ironic language that is usually directed against an individual

b: the use or language of sarcasm

I believe Bob may have just been fiilling a vacuum... created now that a certain liberal poster went MIA. Just a guess lol
