Fox News proclaims era of Global Cooling has begun

Thought I would mimic our local troll in cutting and pasting "outrages" without analysis:

According to Fox News:

"Looks to me like we're looking at global cooling, forget this global warming," Varney said.

Brilliant, based on a single incident of the Antarctica refreezing old ice that had melted from glaciers.

In the subject line, it should be 'begun' not 'began'.

Consider this. This week there are new record cold temps in America, not for the date, but since recordings have taken place. It could be that a messed up Arctic enviroment is sending historic low temperatures to middle America but it does look like to the common man that right now the Earth is cooler than what had been promised by those who support global warming scenarios.

Look at the actual scientific evidence. The record low temperatures in the US are due to the polar vortex which occurred due to the displacement of the jet stream. What caused that displacement of the jet stream, one may ask? One cause is the melting of the Arctic ice, which is due to global warming.

If one had actually read the IPCC report, this was forecast. It is highly likely that we will see more disruptions in weather patterns including hotter summers, colder winters, higher intensity storms, etc.

One thing you may have missed is when Varney clearly stated "that's just my opinion". I didn''t see where he claimed any scientific fact... at least he admitted it was just his opinion. I'm pretty sure opinions are still allowed and present and in every single news network or paper. Al Gore gave us many years of his opinions and he was the VPOTUS(pretty sure that position still carries some weight)... many of his strong opinions have been proven false, already.

So Fox News promotes the opinions of business editors who provide no factual evidence in regard to rebuttal of scientific certainty? Why give this obviously unqualified individual a national platform to spout his factually inaccurate statements?

I don't know, why don't you ask every other news network? Just off the top of my head I can think of some news people immediately insinuating that tea party members were possible suspects in murders or bombings, with zero evidence. I suppose it just depends on what side of the ideological spectrum you stand on.

Fox news allows the people on the shows to make glib comments, just like MSNBC and all the others. You're trying to make something out of nothing.
