Keystone XL to raise gas prices in Colorado significantly

Dog, do you support the anti-fracking measures being put on the ballot in Colorado? If they pass, propane and gasoline prices are going to be affected more than one pipeline.

And please keep ignoring the hundreds of well paying construction jobs if Keystone is ever approved. All construction jobs are temporary but two years of good wages are much better for the economy than letting Canadians build a pipeline across their Rockies.

I support the ability of local communities to be able to enforce their zoning ordinances within their boundaries on all industries rather than giving a free pass to a single industry.

And those local communities zoning ordinances will have no appreciable effect on propane and gasoline prices.

So a few hundred temporary jobs weighed against increased costs in not only Colorado but most of the midwest, foreign businesses seizing land from ranchers and farmers who have owned that land for generations, decreased domestic supply of oil and gas, and highly likely damage to the food infrastructure of the United States? Yeah, I can see the balance of that scale.

Dog, you think you are so cute. Like you really worry about energy prices for Coloradoan. You are the type of liberal, like Obama, who thinks Americans should have to pay much more for energy to encourage conservation. You wouldn't mind paying $5 or $10 a gallon like Europe if it helped prevent global warming.

Yet Fred lies again. You make suppositions about me without even knowing me. You paint with a broad brush trying to smear others who challenge your ongoing and continual lies.

Try using actual facts with documentation for once and you might be more successful in your posts.

Dog, your title is a lie. $0.20 is not raising the price of gas significantly. That isn't even 10%.

Really? That is the best you have? To a family living on the edge of their income, unable to afford medication for their babies, $0.20 per gallon is significant.

To those living out of their cars, or holed up in long term shelters or temporary housing, $.20 per gallon is significant.

Apparently you live in such a life of privilege that you do not have to consider the impacts of price increases on those in low income lives.

The bottled water they buy at the register when they pay for their gas costs more per gallon as the gasoline itself does these days. At $0.99 per liter you're talking $3.80 a gallon for the water.

Dog's campaign to keep Colorado gasoline cheaper scored a major win today. Per 710KNUS the Canadian government has approved a pipeline through the Canadian Rockies while America's president is still examining data about Keystone. So Colorado will save a dime per gallon! Of course American construction workers might be able to find work in British Columbia. (So is it Obama's fault that these jobs are being exported?)

Who is this mythical "they" to which you refer? Are you claiming that those of whom that live on the brink of destitution are buying bottled water? And that this somehow proves that an additional $2.50 per week is insignificant for those who can not afford their medications? Where of which do you obtain your proof of this allegation?

So you agree that since those American construction workers will now go to BC, there are no jobs being lost, those construction workers will still be employed. Win win for everyone.
