that does not mean it should be ok. if no laws were broken, great. if they were, they should have to pay the taxes - just like everyone else that breaks a tax law and hides money to avoid paying. everyone should be treated equally. Just because that isn't the way it is, does not mean I shouldn't believe that it should be.

This is not how this works. The defense (or even former defense) cannot oversee the cops, and only someone guilty as hell would be trying to do this. Yes, it remains to be seen that AG Sessions and/or Deputy AG Rosenstein will be fired or forced to resign, but there's been far too much said negatively by our president about them to turn a blind eye to this very real possibility.

The break down: www.msnbc.com/rachel-maddow/watch/secret...60763459688?v=railb&CREW has uncovered a previously undisclosed ethics waiver that may represent an effort to clear one of the obstacles to Solicitor General Noel Francisco replacing Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein as the official overseeing the Russia investigation.
If Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein either resigns or is fired, someone else will have to oversee the Special Counsel investigation. Next in line appears to be Solicitor General Noel Francisco. The problem is that Mr. Francisco has ties to the pending investigation that should preclude his participation.
For one thing, his former law firm, Jones Day, represents the Trump Presidential Campaign in the Special Counsel investigation. Also, Mr. Francisco has a continuing financial relationship with Jones Day, which owes him more than half a million dollars. In addition, he previously appeared before the Justice Department as a member of a “Landing Team” on behalf of the Presidential Transition Team.

Well, it looks like Trump just started his own Saturday Night Massacre.
Firing Sessions
and replacing him with a man who's
publicly stated the Office of Special Counsel is going too far
doesn't bode well for him.
If Rod Rosenstein is forced out this week as well, don't be surprised if sealed indictments start getting unsealed left and right. This will not end well for those guilty of criminal acts.

Rosenstein has been replaced as the head of the Mueller Investigation by the same Whitaker who is replacing Sessions. Whitaker is also on record saying Hilary should be indicted as well. The guy is a trump rah rah politico, we know where this is going.

Does anyone feel this spinning wildly out of control right now? I expected things to change after the election... I did not expect him to start throwing bombs - but I guess we should all be numb at this point, totally used to constant upheaval ... just business as usual right?

IF you lived thru NIXON AND WATERGATE, you can vividly visual the trajectory. and for Parkcobound the action do NOT surprise me....with the flip in congress Trump is acting like a cornered badger and he will do ANYTHING to stop the invasion into his taxes and his family circle.....Tump Jr poss indictment.... Mueller is FAR SMARTER THAN TRUMP he knew this was coming and is well ahead ahead of the curve. Trump has been testing the outer limits of everything and so far NO resistance.....UNTIL NOW. jmo

It's not ramage's age that is causing his lack of understanding, it is his alignment with the post reality right wing party... and the propaganda they ingest on a daily basis. I have a couple of relatives who are 'trump' supporters and they have an absolute belief in anything that comes from trump or fox, or infowars, is reality. Until they return to a fact based reality, there can't be any useful dialog. Civil dialog, intelligent dialog, can only exist when it it exists based on the facts.
