The Jewish state had one of the most successful vaccine programs in the world but this new, more contagious version has them concerned. Think America will start locking down again? Or will the country refuse to submit this time?

Studies show that COVID-19 vaccines are effective at keeping you from getting COVID-19. Getting a COVID-19 vaccine will also help keep you from getting seriously ill even if you do get COVID-19.
COVID-19 vaccination is an important tool to bring you closer to enjoying the activities you have missed. Learn more about the benefits of getting vaccinated.
COVID-19 vaccines teach our immune systems how to recognize and fight the virus that causes COVID-19. It typically takes 2 weeks after vaccination for the body to build protection (immunity) against the virus that causes COVID-19. That means it is possible a person could still get COVID-19 before or just after vaccination and then get sick because the vaccine did not have enough time to provide protection. People are considered fully vaccinated 2 weeks after their second dose of the Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine, or 2 weeks after the single-dose Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen COVID-19 Vaccine.

You're right, technically. It gives you a higher percentage of immunity than your average flu shots, but it's still possible to contract covid. Of course the governments of the world have a big incentive to NOT make the numbers of post vaccinated covid patients fully known, even if they are relatively small.FredHayek wrote: Calling it immunity is incorrect. They do help lessen the effects of Covid-19 but it doesn't make you immune.

There are people who have contracted Covid, even after being vaccinated. If you want the masses to get the shot, you sure don't want to tell these people that the shot is no guarantee they won't still contract covid. It's the same kind of reasoning they used for saying the lab leak theory was debunked. To control populations, you must control the narrative.Wayne Harrison wrote:

And what incentive is that?
