Publisher's summary
This book presents the results of Heide Goettner-Abendroth's pioneering research in the field of modern matriarchal studies, based on a new definition of matriarchy as true gender-egalitarian societies. Accordingly, matriarchal societies should not be regarded as mirror images of patriarchal ones, as they have never needed patriarchy's hierarchical structures of domination. On the contrary, matriarchal patterns are socially egalitarian, economically balanced, and politically based on consensus decisions. They have been created by women and are founded on maternal values. This new perspective on matriarchal societies is developed step by step by the analysis of extant indigenous cultures in Asia, Africa, and the Americas.

Of course . . . if you redefine something to mean what you want it to mean instead of what it has always meant, of course your new definition is going to fit like a glove on your premise. Duh . . .

Ironic that the state that most believes in global warming wasn't prepared for these Santa Ana fires which happen every year.
Do they not read their own dire warnings?

ANSWER,........most people r undecided about climate change, the earth's climate has morphed many times and it is believed this is just another part of that paradigm.

It is proven that the axis of the earth has moved several degrees (and that was back when BANDA ACHE
HAD A TSUNAMI AFTER A HUGE EARTHQUAKE) ,THE AXIS HAS MOVED EVEN FURTHER....forecast is now the upper half of the N America will be moderate (not frigid) and the lower portion will be extremely hot and arid.....check it out ,when the axis has changed...u have climate change. NJMO

I'm happily surprised by your first sentence, however, I don't know how or where you got that information. It seems to me like the vast majority of Democrats believe in MAN MADE climate change. I think we can say with confidence that man has not caused the earth's axis to shift. If we are to talk seriously about climate change, shouldn't all the factors be included, like solar activity and the shifting of the earth's axis?

Since you know as well as I do that the loudest voices on climate change, like John Kerry, never mention any factors that are out of human control, why do you give them any credibility? Why should Americans listen to climate "experts" who don't discuss ALL the factors that contribute to a changing climate?

The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.

Tragically, no amount of finger pointing, fist shaking, hand wringing, head smacking, nose-thumbing, middle-finger saluting, or hands clasped in prayer can undo the terrible damage in California. Too many thousands can only sit on their hands until they get the go-ahead to begin the cleanup. We in Colorado watch and worry, aware that we can certainly be next, but our hands are NOT tied and we can do more than sympathize — we can work together to improve our odds in wildfire.

Conifer Rotary will be sponsoring volunteer days to thin the sides of our most dangerous major evacuation routes this summer, starting with Hwy 73.
Comment if you would like to be involved. We will have planning and physical work.
Any work will have property owner agreement.

Democrats may believe in climate change but time after time, polled Democrat voters don't regard it as a priority to them.

Even Greta Thunberg has moved on from defending the environment to attacking capitalism and attacking Israel in antisemitic protests.
