Also expect to see insurance companies require more homeowners to get rid of trees near homes. Will be seeing a lot more homes on hillsides when we drive in the Colorado mountains because the trees that protected them from wind will have been removed.

The fire hydrant story isn't unexpected. If I had a home in the fire zone, I would be watering my lawns and roof right now.
