I'm not protesting that you do not like snopes, I just want to know why? What are your reasons?

Kneb:

After reviewing what I posted last night, I see that was the wrong video to post. There I apologized. Are you happy now?

Since you haven't answered some of my questions, I don't have to answer yours, do I? Well, I will try to answer them, since I don't try intentionally to avoid direct questions when someone is reasonable.

I have already explained that I am not usually what is referred to as a conspiracy theorist, but I admit that I have not moved on from this issue because no one, and that includes Obama, has done what is necessary, and IMO proper, to truly allow us to move on. I see too many glaring problems with Obama, and the Liberals, not you if you are a Libertarian as you stated, who continually attack instead of prove a damn thing. I am not satisfied with avoiding the issues of Obama's legitimacy as the POTUS. I am not satisfied with the logic of burying one's head in the sand and ignoring the glaring issues, such as him saying he has visited all 57 states, or that he sat in a church for 20 years and never heard a damn thing that Jeremiah Wright had to say. I am not satisfied with the answers to his relationship with Bill Ayers, or Reczko or Alinsky or any of the other questionable things that have never been satisfactorily explained or justified, proof that the Mainstream Media has been in the tank!!!

I am not happy at all about a bunch of Czars who answer to no one making the decisions for this country. I am not happy that as a proud veteran, I am branded a right wing extremist. I am not happy at the way this administration has handled Israel, nor its bullsh** approach to foreign policy by its naivete. Sit down with dictators and tell them we are nice people!! Bullsh**!! Bow to our enemies. Bullsh**!

Nemysys - do you really think that our government would have allowed Obama to even place his name on a ballot without verifying that he was a natural born citizen? Are you that big of a conspiracy theorist? Where is your proof that Oabama has spent millions on hiding his certificate?

As has been posted on here before, yes, Obama probably misspoke when he said "57 states." It was a slip-up. I am quite sure that he knows there are only 50 states.

Happy?

As I understand it he was referring to his campaign visits which included US territories like Puerto Rico and Guam, and US bases, he made it to 57 different places to campaign.....but hey, it has certainly given the conservatives fodder for their outrages when there is nothing substantial to get outraged over.....like the birth certificate.......If there had been any irregularities they would have long ago been ferreted out, but some people just like to hang onto their indignation even in the face of facts....it is ever so much fun to do that!

sheesh....it's been shown so many times....get with the program. Hawaii has released a proper birth certificate, just because you birthers think it isn't real doesn't make it a fake. Some conspiracy, you won't take the word of the state that issued it, you won't take visual evidence, you think the FBI, the CIA, the entire government are covering this up. NY issues the same certificate of live birth that Hawaii does, no one has ever questioned my birth certificate, it got me a passport and Obama got one too....but that too must be part of the conspiracy.....there is just no reasoning with irrational individuals and I will cease to try.

As I recall, he never said there were 57 states. I don't know why people keep saying he said that.

What he said was he had been to 57 states and "had one to go, Hawaii and Alaska." His whole statement didn't make sense but it was on the campaign trail and it was clear from that sentence he misspoke.. Hawaii and Alaska would be two to go, not one. That would also add up to 59 states.

I might be wrong in my recollection, but that's what I remember.

As far as his birth certificate -- if it's enough to satisfy the government to run for the highest office in the land, it's good enough for me. People who think it is some vast conspiracy make me chuckle. If it were such a vast conspiracy, a regular birth certificate would be a piece of cake to manufacture. And if it were a vast conspiracy, there would have been too many people involved and someone would have spilled the beans by now.

From WorldNetDaily: Parents and relatives don’t, and didn’t, get to place birth announcements in the Honolulu Advertiser or the Honolulu Star-Bulletin. As a Star-Bulletin employee explained to WorldNetDaily, the editors “print what we receive from the Department of Health Vital Statistics System,” and did so in 1961. And the Advertiser worked the same way.

A birther would tell you it was all part of the conspiracy...... That in 1961 (when most of the U.S. was segregated) someone in the Hawaiian government conspired to place the birth announcement in the paper of a black baby, counting on the fact it would grow up and become a presidetial candidate and get elected. If I were hedging my bets in 1961 as to who would have the greater chance of being elected president, I would bet on a white baby.

The whole scenario is preposterous. I do think Barry doesn't want his original birth certificate public because there's something in it of a personal nature that is an embarrassment to the family. Maybe something to do with the real father? It still doesn't change the fact that he was born in the United States.

It seems that you all have the answers that make sense to you, but it doesn't change the fact that the birth certificate that was produced was stamped "received" on it.

I was born in N.Y. as well and my copy of my birth certificate is stamped as a certified copy of the document that was recorded.

You make assumptions about the reasons as to why he doesn't want to show his birth certificate, and that is all it is, assumptions, definitely not proof or even a logical conclusion. No one was betting in 1961 that he would grow up to be President, so to me that is an illogical statement.

It seems to satisfy the Liberals on here though. Good for you. You are satisfied with your assumptions and they are. Whoopee!

I still haven't seen a response to the question of where is the source that Obama spent 2 million defending his so-called lack of a birth certificate? I doubt he has spent anything, it's a non-issue....he's the president, get over it.

then please explain the newspaper notices of his birth in Hawaii. Those are real, and they come from the Hawaii State gov't......some conspiracy. I've seen people grasping at straws but it really IS incredulous that some in this country still believe it. Conservative colored glasses again, they distort the truth.
