i am confused. what is the courthouse vs. the ring for? yes it has been getting out of hand in the courthouse and could be easily remedied by ignoring the personal insults and staying on track with the discussion. or is self discipline in the courthouse just too much to ask? is that why we are having this discussion?

"The problem with Socialism is that eventually you run out of other people's money." attributed to Margaret Thatcher

"A wise and frugal government, which shall leave men free to regulate their own pursuits of industry and improvement, and shall not take from the mouth of labor the bread it has earned - this is the sum of good government." Thomas Jefferson

But in re-reading the first couple of pages I noticed that the more outspoken liberals were singled out for banning (teddy would ban himself but that's another issue) Perhaps what is really wanted, hidden between the lines, is a conservative forum where conservatives can discuss the issues without having to defend themselves to those pesky liberals who keep asking for facts, and sources, and logic. If that is what is wanted, make a conservative room and let them have at it....

That is so funny!! I was just about to type the same thing about Liberals. They want a room where they won't be called out on the facts and the truth, so give them a Liberal room.

Did you see any liberal recommend banning conservatives? Nope, you didn't.

Are you talking about Teddy? I don't think there are any Conservatives who want a room with no debate from the other side.

Hey, I would love to see a liberal thread and a conservative thread. Give each side a place to agree with each other. Boy, would that have to be on the honor system! LOL You guys could pick a topic of the day. I think that would be very cool.

But it would drive the Conservatives crazy to look at the Liberal thread and see all the made up stories and how great Obama is for our country. And we wouldn't want the new people on here to read that and think it is true so someone would have to go over and correct them. Or we can rebute in our oown thread. 'Did you see what the Liberals wrote over there and how big of a lie that is!!'. Then we would just debate against each other only in different threads.

Lets see some of these experiments. I would love to see how they turn out.
