This thread is not about respect or disrespect of a religion or a culture. It is about a lying occupant of the white house perpetuating myth as fact and willing cohorts swallowing it as gospel.

CG, wake up! It is their treatment of women. You seem to think that the women enjoy it. Don't think of yourself as a tourist watching the quaint customs of a happy people, but rather put yourself in the Islam woman's shoes. Their treatment is horrific.

Your logic has escaped me. But I will take a wild swing at it and say that sometimes the victims (Islamic women) sometimes side with their tormentors (Islamic men). Consider Patty Hearst. (It is associated with survival.)
I do not see how that cartoon made fun of the victims. It depicts them as dealing with it as best they can.
