Really, you are kidding ...aren't you? Illegals live in affordable neighborhoods... no way! Really? Wow, I didn't know that...
I thought they lived in those areas because they like to draw on each other houses and businesses...and there was some magic in the paint sticking to those older homes and buildings.
So I get it...they like cheap living... cheap homes, purchase 10 year old cars, free medical care, free health care, free police, and free fire protection...and the rent is cheap...while they work tax free.
DENVER—Colorado Republicans are taking another crack at immigration enforcement with a proposal that would punish people who conceal illegal immigrants and fine employers who fail to show proof their workers are in the country legally.
The bill is getting its first hearing in the House on Monday.
It would also make it illegal to stop and block traffic to pick up people to transport them to a work site and it would allow law enforcement to stop vehicles believed to be smuggling illegal immigrants.
To bad it won't make it past the democratic controlled senate.
I read a study recently that tabulated the drain of illegals on social programs and healthcare vs what they pay in taxes and it is a wash. Find something else to rail against.
Actually, more than just illegals work tax free. "subcontracting" construction work is becoming extremely prevalent in Colorado and around the nation. Instead of employers actually hiring employees, withholding taxes, ss, med, and paying their workers comp, they just pay them per piece. Whether or not the employee then pays the taxes owed, is another thing. Yes, many illegals do this type of work, but lately, so do many legal people.
Too bad future generations aren't here to see all the great things we are spending their $$ on!!
Don't know how many folks watched "Nurse Jackie" on ShowTime, but besides going leftist, (with fat kids, and obsession of getting ms.oblama to visit hospital), they also brought up the fact that folks will take advantage of "the System": Lady was sitting complaining about HOW long it was taking for her daughter to get to see a Dr., "She has asthma, she can't breathe!" Cut to daughter sitting eating bag of Cheetos. This continues thru the show, as Mom keeps b*tching we see daughter on roller-skating in waiting room, still eating Cheetos. It is explained as the nurses are looking at the massive amount of different hospitals that the mom & child, had visited to increase their monthly allowance, Shameful, but really hit home....
