I came down I70 at about 5:30 this morning. I saw several vehicles trying to drive up the hill and failing. I saw State Patrol and Jeffco sheriffs driving in to aid those that were stuck. Then, I saw the backup forming at the bottom of the hill.
I hope it open by the afternoon commute.
Whoever dropped the ball at CDOT should be canned.

From what I can tell, it seems to be improving. Down here on the southeast side of town, I woke up at about 3 to screaming wind and didn't know it was snowing when I looked outside it was completely white out. I could not even see into the street ahead of me.
