You might check CDOT or DSV before you leave. Several serious accidents followed the accident posted above.

Hubby headed out from Deer Creek Valley Ranchos to Evergreen around 8:15 it took him a 1/2 hour to get to Shaffers Crossing as 285 was a sheet of ice.
He said roads in Conifer were only wet and just wet the rest of the way to Evergreen.
