I just asked her brother, and he was fine with it. :woo hoo:

Come on, people. Help a gal out, will you?

Viking - that was way funny. I laughed out loud.

VL, that is a sweet pic. However it looks very 80's or maybe even 70's. LOL Mine is very 80's.

My first wedding, don't know if there will be a second, was done for $500 bucks. I don't believe in expensive weddings. I was like that then and I am like that now. Should I decide to marry, it would take alot for me to, Justice of the peace or vegas wedding chapel is the only way to go.

Testosterone is a cause of male pattern baldness.

The silent majority will be silent no more.

What are your favorite activities to do together? You could go on a hike and surprise her with a beautifully set table in a mountain meadow.

Not that this is how it should be done, but it was how I was proposed to:

My boyfriend said he had been called in to work...he worked in the office on the base that was responsible for notifying deceased military members' family of their demise and the circumstances surrounding their death then he counseled the family on their benefits, so when he said he had to go to work, I never questioned it.

Anyways, I had just moved into my on-base house and all of my household items were in route, so there was no furniture in my home, except a bar stool, a homemade kids chair/stool/table that sat a couple inches off the floor and borrowed sleeping pads. I was talking with one of my family members when he came back and did this:

He got the kids chair/stool/table and turned it upside down so it was a table and put a white sheet over the top and set it in front of me. Then he went outside and picked a spring yellow Daffodil and put it in a red Solo (plastic) drinking glass and put this on the sheet-covered stool-table.

Then he got down on one knee in front of this tableau and asked me to marry him.

Cheesy? Maybe. Romantic? For me...yes.

I've been with Lil Precious off and on since 1970. I decided i'd marry her when I saw her on her first day of school in my school in the 5th grade. I looked out the window and saw her walking up to the school with her mom. That was it
