A REAL Farmer's Market starts JUNE 1ST

The Farmers Market is hopping already, and it's technically not even open yet! :)

"Now, more than ever, the illusions of division threaten our very existence. We all know the truth: more connects us than separates us. But in times of crisis the wise build bridges, while the foolish build barriers. We must find a way to look after one another as if we were one single tribe.” -King T'Challa, Black Panther

The truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it. ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is. ~Winston Churchill

Any spinach? I tried a different seed this year and am not happy last year this time I was donating to the food bank as there was more than we could eat and now we don't have enough to make a salad.

Will not use Best Cool Seeds next year.

I visited with someone today, whose garden is just not growing at all. Her spinach which she planted towards the end of May is just a few inches tall and is flowering already.
Mine is not growing either. But that would be due to small creatures.

Maybe Pine Mtn homestead will have spinach this week.

My spinach is going CRAZY! I have so much I'm freezing a goodly bunch tomorrow morning. Package says Bloomsdale, Long Standing, Ferry Morse.

Also have scads of lettuce, if anyone wants to come by and get some. No way we'll be able to eat it all.

Every time I bring in spinach, I come home with more than half of it. I have stopped buying bunched greens bc they do not sell enough to make it worth my investment on a case. Maybe I will try again, but I hate losing the money on stuff that does not sell.
