From Clif B. 6am
Shelton and 43 have just enough snow to make it a little slick. 285 is in the same boat but plows are out dropping sand, 73 has less than 1/4 inch but untouched by County plows. It's a balmy 5 degrees in Evergreen this morning. Stay safe and warm.
From Clif B. 5:30am
Good morning, Roads are a bit icy this morning Shelton and 43 are are snowpacked (it's a bit of a challenge to slow down and stop at the light at 43 and 285) 285 has wagon tracks there is a bad spot between willow wisp and pine junction ( there's a new jeep on its side up against the mountain on the northbound side, 73 is snowpacked but sanded the S curve before Evergreen is slicker than, well pretty slick as you'll see the mountain has tire tracks on it. Warmer here than there 13 degrees in Evergreen and -7 in the valley on 43. Stay safe

285 from Tiny Town through the canyon to C470 is wet but clear, minor slush is areas. Average speed for the 6 cars I traveled amongst at 4:30 AM was 35/40. normal breaklights around curves but no sliding.
C470 to I70 clear, only wet. I70 through Arvada clear, again only wet.
Stay safe and dry out there.
Renee E. 7am

From Mike M. 7am about CR 73 between Evergreen and Conifer:
Little slick, but not to bad..
From Christy M. At 7:06am in the 285 Traveler Group
615am Indian Hills (Parmalee Gulch) to Littleton (Broadway)
Parmlee to C470: canyon has been plowed, but snowpacked, icy, slush, and frozen slush. Good news: lane recognition!
C470 to Ken Caryl: same as the canyon, but less bad.
Ken Caryl to Broadway: wet, standing water, snow, blowing snow, and windy!!!
PSA I drive a 4 Runner 4x4 with snow tires (Blizzaks). The Blizzaks are amazing in a "normal" Colorado winter that has snow and ice. This season, with the amount of slush/frozen slush, IMHO it would've been better to have kept the AT tires on this winter!!!
Greg B. 6:30am
Just got back from the airport. 285 from Windy peak down through Morrison exit dicey in areas. Not a cakewalk but I’ve driven worse.
Controlled caution and you’ll be fine.
Candice L 6:25am
Bailey was very BAD
As get closer to Conifer it is better visibility wise and plows are out BUT road is ice under snow
Starla J. 6:15am
Weather apps say light snow but it’s snowing hard in Bailey 285 is snow packed and low visibility
Damp on 285 until 470. The canyon is a bit icy. Light snowfall from there until just past aspen park. Right lane is mostly tracked out the whole way. Mix of hardpack and slush in spots. Usual suspect areas to watch for; the canyon, windy point and Richmond hill. Not too bad overall. Drive safe.
Karen E. 5pm:
PJ to Conifer. On 285 the roads are mostly wet, but starting to stick some now. Swirling snow, which at times made it hard for me to see. Side roads were sketchy in areas and my driveway was super slick. I imagine things will be more slick as the night goes on. If I didn't have to be out I wouldn't be out. It was worse the further south you were. Drive safe!
Please drive with your lights on!

I just drove from Centennial to Black Mountain Drive smooth sailing. Be safe everyone!
Cathy B. 5pm
It was just wet when I came through there 35 min ago. Slushy in Burland neighborhood but not on 285
