You'll notice we didn't just slap up a cookie-cutter fan page but really made an effort to add refinements to it that I hope set it apart from the norm -- things like highway cameras, weather, and a better-than-average welcome page. (You have to be logged out of Facebook and then go to http://www.facebook.com/285Bound to see it). I proud that 285Bound had the Facebook vision before I came on board to help and that it was the very first local community website to have a Facebook page -- thus setting the standard for others to follow. Sometimes it just takes some friendly competiton to help spur changes.

Competition helps, but it takes vision to make fundamental and innovative changes for others to emulate. I'm thinking Apple here. They are a leader and pretty much march to the beat of their own drum. Similarly, the synergy and vision here will result in something better than anyone an accomplish on their own. Great job guys.

I agree with RockDoc.
You have to start with a vision into the future.
I just feel so lucky to be a member here.
I can't wait to see all the directions the site moves into.

I clicked on the link but all I got was the message about "You have to join Facebook to see it." Too bad they won't let you see content without having to join.

But I'm sure it's a beautiful page... Glad it's there.

LJ, I'm not on facebook and clicked this link: http://www.facebook.com/285Bound and was able to see the page. Try this one and see if you get there. (I took it from the first post on this thread.)

RockDoc, just sent you the pics.
