Living in the mountains is a constant, continual project with our mountain homes. Jacqui and her husband Phil are locally based here in Conifer and offer some of the best home remodeling and kitchen design solutions to address (everyone's) remodel/construction needs. They created Blue Leaf Design Build to help all of us move forward with great ideas, consulting and construction solutions to 'get it done.'

Jacqui presents her great suggestions, new offerings and the great work she and Phil are doing on behalf of our mountain communities. We recognize these neighbors who recently launched a trades scholarship program, "Building the Future Scholarship Fund" through our local Bootstraps Scholarships and Loans nonprofit. And, we also recognize Jacqui for stepping up to serve on the Board of the Conifer Area Chamber of Commerce. It’s year-end tax-time, and Conifer Podcast presents Ms. Jeanie Boymel of Altitude Financial Partners with some advisories for the closing of 2023. Jeanie Boymel our local life-long educator here in Conifer, taught PE for 13 years in our US 285 corridor and has extended her gift of teaching financial education to her clients. Her podcast will also repeat each evening at 6:30 pm, Thursday through Tuesday, December 26th in preparation for year-end 2023.

Happy New Year everyone. Conifer Radio is pleased to assist the Conifer Historical Society and Museum with its Oral Histories program. This program features our local mountain residents who’ve made a significant contribution to the Conifer, US 285 and other mountain corridors.

Conifer Podcast rings-in the new year with this Wednesday, January 3rd at 5 pm where we recognize Dr. Elbert E. Hollister of Evergreen, Colorado who passed away on May 3, 2015 at the age of 85. Doc Hollister’s son Mark and grandson Garett gave tribute to “Doc Hollister” in a recording from October of 2023 recognizing his service to Evergreen, Conifer and our mountain communities. Conifer Podcast continues this week with a new feature we call “On the Record with Conifer Radio.” Today, January 10th, at 5 pm we begin 2024 with Dr. Wendy Dutton, DAOM, L.Ac. with an introduction to her new Podcast series: “Bailey BioHealth Integrative Medicine, Your One-Stop Shop for Health.” As a member of our local Bailey community, Wendy educates our community about the power of integrative medicine where her approach addresses root causes of health issues from both, Eastern and Western, medical perspectives.

This is an opportunity for key members of our US 285 Corridor to present information on important topics. On Wednesday, February 7th at 5 pm, Conifer Podcast presents the Conifer Area Chamber of Commerce. We extend our thanks to the leadership of the Chamber; Beth Schneider, June McKenzie and Bill Aubin for their time in Studio at the Museum to share their vision for the upcoming 2024 year ahead.

By way of introduction, Mr. Bill Aubin, has stepped-forward to lead as President of the Chamber for 2024 and is also the Founder and CEO of Optive Commercial Capital, our local commercial financing expert here in Conifer. Also in studio is Ms. June McKenzie, Vice President of the Chamber and a Certified Mountain Area Specialist, Certified Real Estate Negotiations Expert, and a Certified Seller Representative Specialist with RE/MAX Alliance in Conifer. Bill and June were joined by Ms. Beth Schneider who serves as the Executive Director of our Chamber and is also the co-founder of the Sam Schneider Legacy Fund of CureSearch for Children's Cancer.

This introductory Conifer Podcast on Wednesday, February 28th will precede their series which begins the very next evening, and each Thursday evening thereafter at 7 pm. You will enjoy having them answer everything you would like to know about home improvement. Again, beginning THIS Thursday, February 29th at 7 pm, we present “285 DIY - Elevate Your Home Repair Game.”
