Today at 5 pm, we are privileged to feature this past month live from Studio at the Museum Sabrina, Brenda and Carrie of PeaceWorks from our US 285 corridor. What a GREAT interview! PeaceWorks is a non-profit 501(c)3 local charity with a mission to advocate for ALL survivors, their children and companion animals, of intimate partner violence/abuse, sexual assault, sex trafficking, teen dating violence and stalking. PeaceWorks’ provides inclusive services for ALL, including crisis intervention, emergency shelter, culturally responsive and trauma informed advocacy, and local prevention and education to create social change.

PeaceWorks also owns and operates Mountain Peace Shelter, a temporary secure and confidential home for for survivors of intimate partner violence, sexual assault, sex trafficking, teen dating violence, and stalking.

Again, a really great interview … and our thanks to Sabrina, Brenda and Carrie – and the entire team and Board of Peaceworks for their contribution to the safety of our US 285 Corridor. Listen at coniferradio.com

Started locally by twelve volunteers in Evergreen, Colorado in 1990, Blue Spruce Habitat for Humanity is our local foothills affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International. Blue Spruce serves our mountain areas of western Jefferson County, Clear Creek County and parts of Park County up to Kenosha Pass. All of our homeowners are local residents, living, working, attending church and raising children here in our mountain community, and they contribute to the building of their home.
