Just proves who is serioius about cutting spending and the deficit. The Dems haven't passed anything in the Democrat controlled Senate. They are working on a gay law right now. That is their priority!

They should call it "Duck, Dodge, and Dismantle"...

No, you have to use the GOP-approved focus-tested words: "Tax the [job creators]" You're not allowed to say "rich" any more.

And God, oops, excuse me, Allah forbid we should actually try to do something about the problems, rather than just blaming somebody else for them.

So the Republicans waste every ones time passing their own pet bill....that they know will never pass the senate or be signed the president. Why? Because this never was about doing what is right for the country and working with the democrats...nope, these prima donnas care only about themselves and their party.

They should all be thrown out of congress and run outs town. They don't represent the people of this nation...they never have.

We ARE trying to do something about it... We're trying to add some revenue to the mix, because you aren't going to get there on cuts alone...

We'll never get there just by taxing the 'wealthy' either - at least this plan combines more than one of the necessary actions, even tho it may not include all that is necessary.
