No everyone is NOT required to file taxes.....a married couple with less than $18,700 does not have to file a tax return.....and there are different thresholds for different filing statuses.

Anyone want to bet that when they re-adjust these numbers later, they go down? Seems a trend that initial reports are always high and corrected downwards.
Hope I am wrong and that the stock market recovers but this is looking bleak.

True enough. They don't have to file a return if they are willing to do without the money they would receive if they filed a tax return. You can't receive the money from the credits unless you file a return though. There is no way the IRS is going to send you a check for the charity you are entitled to under the law if you don't file a tax return.

We were losing 800,000 jobs a month every month when Obama took over. Understand?
