George Bush was the "smart" governor from Texas. I'm thrilled he's running.

Flat out lie again.

Perry leading by far with Texas Republicans

Republican primary voters in the state have warmed up to him over the first six months of the year and he's now the clear favorite in the state.

31% of Republicans say Perry would be their first choice as nominee next year compared to 15% for Mitt Romney , 11% for Michele Bachmann, 9% for Ron Paul and Sarah Palin, 8% for Newt Gingrich, 6% for Herman Cain, and 2% for Tim Pawlenty.

Huh? and that makes what I posted a lie how? Maybe all those Republicans just want him gone.

The majority in Texas support Perry.

Do you have a link saying people are voting for him for him to leave Texas? Or just made up stuff again?

chill out Viking, you sure get defensive when your man Perry gets attacked. Wait till he is actually running, how are you going to handle it when he is attacked daily? Do we need to take up a collection here to buy you some anti-anxiety pills?

A prolonged Viking orgasm to follow immediately after Perry's announcement....

BTW, if you read the mysantonio story Viking posted you'll see Perry is only 3 points ahead of Obama in approval ratings in Texas, with a margin of error of plus or minus 3.7%

A 54% job approval rating with a 3.7% margin of error is nothing to crow about. It means almost half of those polled don't like him.

They were both smart enough to get re-elected. Obama snuck out before he lost his re-election to the Illinois Senate.

Not at all. Excited to see the attacks on him discredited like this one was, and show his record to be 10 times that of Obama. Just waiting for you to admit you were wrong.
