Of course it isn't. This is, after all, the same party that has elevated a C-grade actor with Alzheimers to the level of a genuis.

Interesting article pointing out that the majority of the jobs that Perry is taking credit for were paid for by the federal stimulus.

Those same Obama stimulus jobs that cost $250K a head?

Wouldn't it be better to give 5 people 50K jobs?

And since the money for this is all coming from the next generation, they should be called the Kid's jobs.

It's been pointed out before on this forum that the "$250k a head" figure is misleading. That amount includes materials and services, such as asphalt, concrete, manufacturing, etc., that are required on some of the projects.

It doesn't matter. If Fox News originally claimed that the jobs cost $250,000 a head, the jobs will continue to have cost $250,000 a head unto the end of the earth.

I'd like to suggest that Rick Perry's state, which he requested be named a federal disaster area due to drought, be denied one federal red cent in assistance. That way he can walk the "anti-Washington" walk.

Trickle that down your leg, cowpoke.
