So, Colorado's state tax rate has been 4.63% (not 4.65%) for how long?

Colorado's Individual Income Tax System
Colorado's personal income tax system consists of a flat tax of 4.63% on the entirety of an individual's taxable federal income. That top rate ranks 38th highest among states levying an individual income tax. In 2009 Colorado's state-level individual income tax collections were $884 per person, which ranked 19th highest nationally. Since most small businesses are either S Corporations or partnerships or sole proprietorships, they pay their business taxes at the rates for individuals. The state's low income tax rate makes the tax environment for small businesses in Colorado competitive compared to other states.

So, boo-friggin'-hoo... It's 38th in the nation? (Psst...That's 13th from the BOTTOM...)

I so hate to break this to you, but there is no such thing--now or ever--as a "tax-free environment".. Never has been, never will be. (And there is no tooth-fairy, and no Easter Bunny either...) Sux2BU....

I didn't "blame them only"... They just happen to be a pet peeve of mine... So, as usual, you're lying again.

And the Solyndra fiasco amounts to what, 1/100th-of-1% of the Defense budget? I didn't "conveniently" leave it out... It's just a drop in the bucket compared to $600 toilet seats, $400 hammers, and Tens-of-Billions in money paid to mercenaries like Blackwater...

The sOlyndra fiasco? Come on, what would they had called this CORRUPTION if it happen on Bush's watch? rofllol

On Bush's watch is where it began:

I was expecting a very nice commission check for producing efforts. I got my check...the net results, a 47% tax beating.

Thank you Uncle Sam.

It's time to cut taxes! It's time to cut government expenses! It's time for Americans who produce to become free again.

Its easy to get to 47% if you are self employed middle class.

28+15+4= 47%

These are the marginal rates that are a dis-incentive to work extra over-time and a 2nd job. I used to do moonlight consulting work and got the same rates. Screw that.
This is why tax reform and lower marginal rates are needed.

Joe, as I mentioned earlier, you do get about half of that 15% back as an adjustment to your AGI when you do your taxes, don't you?

I don't think RT gave us enough info as to which taxes that 47% represents, though. I just have to guess what's going on, but I think it's because he got his huge commission. If so, he should get much of it back as a refund, and he still has time to adjust his W4 to have less deducted for the rest of the year to help get the "refund" quicker.

Please add to your talking points the $800 billion blown away on pet projects that the stimulus wasted. Subtract the tax cuts and it's still around $600 billion. And the Obama administration missed it's goal so bad that it's laughable. He'd of gotten an "F" in any economics course for his results vs. his prediction, even ignoring the billions wasted.

Get YOUR facts straight! None of you libs ever do. That's why I don't debate with the idiots on here any more. It's like talking to 5 year olds. Bush voted AGAINST the loan to Solyndra.

Dang... There I go with those pesky FACTS again...

http://nation.foxnews.com/solyndra/2011 ... yndra-loan

The White House noted to ABC News that the Bush administration was the first to consider Solyndra's application and that some executives at the company have a history of donating to Republicans.

The results of the Congressional probe shared Tuesday with ABC News show that less than two weeks before President Bush left office, on January 9, 2009, the Energy Department's credit committee had voted against offering a loan commitment to Solyndra.

Even after Obama took office on Jan. 20, 2009, analysts in the Energy Department and in the Office of Management and Budget were repeatedly questioning the wisdom of the loan. In one exchange, an Energy official wrote of "a major outstanding issue" -- namely, that Solyndra's numbers showed it would run out of cash in September 2011.

It's amazing. I literally have to try and DROP my IQ about 20 points just to try and communicate with a few people in here. You guys just keep repeating the MSM talking points without even checking to see that they are not true.

Hmm - wondering wth a failed company on a government loan has to do with RT doing his deductions poorly?
