You didn't surprise me again....yeah, I should use my time to find a shuttle for a fee to avoid paying taxes. Obviously, you don't value your time.

@RCCL There was a bill introduced earlier this year that would have provided a receipt to taxpayers showing where their money went (roughly, not an exact expenditure of course). I thought it not only sounded like a good idea, but thought that when filing taxes, we should have the option of filling out an additional form to tell Uncle Sam how we want our tax contribution spent. In the story linked below, they mention in their example that say Jane Q Taxpayer makes $50k/yr and has a tax bill of $6,883 (13.766% btw). Of that $6883, $15 goes to the FBI. Now in my suggestion, I would say that there's an additional form when Jane filled out her taxes and on it she could put use $25 to fund the FBI instead. The form could easily show how a similar contribution was split out the previous year and if the taxpayer didn't either make changes to the form or fill it out, then by default the funds would be distributed the same way, but this would, at minimum give those bozos in Congress a true reflection of how their constituents want the money we send to them to be spent.

Here's the story describing the proposed bill: http://www.npr.org/2011/04/15/135446794 ... y-is-spent
