I can't believe you really posted that. So women should shut up about discrimination or attempts to control their personal lives, or even abuse because it isn't as bad as what happens to women in Saudi Arabia. That is disgusting.

He made a blanket accusation about what he thinks feminists think. You do the same thing with conservatives on a daily basis. Need some examples?

The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.

Never content. :crying2:

I'm pretty sure that is the logic slave owners used for not freeing their slaves.

You get the right to own most firearms, unlike many other countries where they are banned completely, yet you complain about loosing the right to own certain firearms. Why don't you just look at how good you really have it?

Sure, I am a typical American. So of course, I am going to be a squeaky wheel. Especially when "assault rifles" are a very, very small part of the homicide total.

Citizen disarmament, pure and simple.

Sorry for this archer, I'll try harder to state facts like this in a more tactful way next time. I was a little grumpy that day.

Once again, pure conservative BS. It is typical that conservatives here will accept unsupported conclusions on a right wing blog by a geologist on the payroll of Koch Bros. funded Heartland Institute, particularly when those conclusions have been clearly refuted by peer reviewed climatologists.

I was not concerned about Fred's blanket statement about what feminists think, he makes statements like that all the time, as do most all the posters here....it was his implication that women have no right to fight for more respect in the US from the GOP because women in other parts of the world have it worse. I found his post stunningly ignorant.

I didn't say women have no right to fight for more respect. I just said they should realize they have it pretty good and should be proud of how much they have achieved in only a few decades compared to 90% of the women in this world who are treated like tribute, whose rapes claims aren't even investigated, who are killed for dowries, and are treated like cattle.
Talk about misunderstanding or jumping to assumptions.

And I took your post exactly as it was written.......that women need a reality check when it comes to the GOP's attitude towards women. No.....the GOP needs a reality check.

2014 is coming up, guess we will find out if Republicans can win back some of that women vote in the midterms when we don't have a couple foot in mouth Senators running.
