But for Republicans, the body count can never be high enough.

According to different sources, Lanza would enter a classroom in a gun free zone with a full mag, shoot up the classroom, eject the half empty mag before he entered the next room and reload with a fresh. So even if 10 round magazines had been the law, the shooter still could have gone room to room shooting kids because everyone else obeyed the gun-free zone.

If the Dems do make CU & CSU gun free zones, will the blood of innocents be on their hands if a VA Tech type shooter is able to shoot up students before campus police locate him?

It is interesting to note that when discussing the use of high capacity magazines, conservatives claim that limits on the capacity of magazines would make no difference when used by mass murders, while limits on the capacity of magazines would have a drastic effect on the ability of individuals defending their homes.

Drastic in what way?

For home defense, my primary is my CCW, only 9 shots plus an 8 shot reload. If there are more bad guys than that in a home invasion scenario, I would be dead anyway.

Hmmmm... I don't remember claiming that. I just remember saying that the government is overstepping it's authority by restricting the magazine size.

How so? According to the Supreme Court, the government is within it's authority under the 2nd Amendment to regulate the sale, use and possession of firearms. And that is assuming that magazines fall within the definition of "arms", which is not certain.

Seems obvious to me...Criminals don't follow the law.

Too bad future generations aren't here to see all the great things we are spending their $$ on!!

And 3D printing will make it even easier for criminals to break the law. Want a forty round illegal magazine? Print it up.

???? Criminals have differing manual dexterity than home defenders?

It's my opinion that the current legislation goes beyond what the Supreme Court has approved.

It's just an opinion. I think more guns is the answer not less. I know you don't agree, and I know that we're not going to change anything by debating.
