I'm surprised grady you couldn't make the correlation....if frogger's post indicates that democrats want a magazine that holds less than 16 so they must think a body count of 15 is acceptable....then Republicans who want no limit on magazine size must think any body count is acceptable....and you don't see the logic in what frogger posted?
Clearly some people should not have magazines of any capacity. You can't make this stuff up.
"A woman cooking herself a snack has been wounded after the bullets her roommate left inside the oven exploded and sprayed her with shrapnel.
Aalaya Walker, 18, preheated the oven of her apartment in Tampa, Florida, on Monday to make herself waffles - not knowing that Javarski 'JJ' Sandy, 25, had stashed his pistol magazine with four live rounds in the appliance.
Ms Walker was hit in the chest and the leg by shrapnel from at least one round."...........

Seems obvious to me...Criminals don't follow the law.
???? Criminals have differing manual dexterity than home defenders?
No, but they have planning. They know they are heading into a place where they will likely be using the firearm. Home defenders are likely surprised. They grab their gun from their vault/bed/whatever if they hear a sound. They may not have much time to react. Better to have whatever max capacity the gun is made for...just in case.
Too bad future generations aren't here to see all the great things we are spending their $$ on!!
Something the Dog Said wrote: Yet another straw man scare tactic. Nowhere is there any legislation that would convert FFL records into an integrated government data base to track the firearms owned by every individual. The record keeping requirement by FFL has been in place for decades. Why not focus on the legislation currently proposed rather than crying wolf on something that has not been proposed and will in all likelihood never be proposed.
