How about the question I asked Archer. If the Republicans had passed a omnibus bill that had shut down abortion and the Supremes supported it, would you want a chance to modify or repeal it?
And try to answer without using a smiley.

If the people could count on their elected representatives to represent their wishes instead of the party, the ACA would already be history and would have been repealed. Heck, if the Democrats were representing the people and not their party agenda, it never would have been passed along to the president's desk for his signature to begin with and there would not be a battle at the moment to try and give voice to the desires of the majority of the populace by refusing to fund a non-existent law.archer wrote: I have said over and over again, the Republicans have every right to change or repeal the ACA.....if they can.....if this is so popular why not have a vote on just that, not try to attach it to another bill that funds the government? Oh.....you mean they have tried to repeal the ACA as a stand alone bill and it won't make it through the senate? or past the President? So rather than admit they need to work harder and actually make a health care bill of their own, that can get bi-partisan support, they resort to blackmail and try to bully the Senate and President into going along with what they could not pass otherwise.

Totally agree with what you said, as Obamacare was originally written, Congress wasn't exempt, but some are now trying to change that. (Easy to pass a bill when you don't let people read it like the congressional staffers getting screwed.)LadyJazzer wrote: You're a liar, Fred...But I would expect nothing less from you...

Just another one in the daily onslaught of outright lies by the TeaBaggers, since they don't have any TRUTH to back them up. But hey, since you never post any sources for anything, you keep settin' 'em up, and I'll keep knockin' 'em down...
Wanna throw some more lies out there...? (Unless, of course, you have some valid sources to back them up?)
