I'm not interested in your hypotheticals...

You let us know when you have a SOURCE for that QUOTE, now, y'heah, Fred? :rofllol

..And YOU try to answer with a REAL link to a REAL QUOTE, and then perhaps we'll move forward.

Really, that is all you have anymore? Your game has really fallen.

How about the question I asked Archer. If the Republicans had passed a omnibus bill that had shut down abortion and the Supremes supported it, would you want a chance to modify or repeal it?

And try to answer without using a smiley.

I have said over and over again, the Republicans have every right to change or repeal the ACA.....if they can.....if this is so popular why not have a vote on just that, not try to attach it to another bill that funds the government? Oh.....you mean they have tried to repeal the ACA as a stand alone bill and it won't make it through the senate? or past the President? So rather than admit they need to work harder and actually make a health care bill of their own, that can get bi-partisan support, they resort to blackmail and try to bully the Senate and President into going along with what they could not pass otherwise.

If this were about an abortion bill, and by some miracle it had passed, I would hope the Democrats would not resort to terrorism of their fellow legislators, and threats to shut the government down, to repeal it.

We've already been told LJ that Fred does not need sources for the fantasies he/she posts, if you can't find a source for what Fred posts than the fault must be yours.

And I agree, it would be better to see the Republicans create their own alternative to ACA and pass it in the House instead of just defunding Obama's damaged law.

And looks like our favorite Cuban/Canadian/Texan, Senator Cruz has started his filibuster.

If the people could count on their elected representatives to represent their wishes instead of the party, the ACA would already be history and would have been repealed. Heck, if the Democrats were representing the people and not their party agenda, it never would have been passed along to the president's desk for his signature to begin with and there would not be a battle at the moment to try and give voice to the desires of the majority of the populace by refusing to fund a non-existent law.

It's not really a filibuster because the vote is already scheduled, and he doesn't have the 60 votes to maintain. All he is doing now is pathetically running off his mouth, looking for a little more publicity, and rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic...

Nice to see the wacko-birds and nutjobs about to go down.

PS,
You forgot to mention the bribes that were thrown around to get ACA passed. Obamacare must be really defective if you had to pay off politicians to get it passed. I do like that Congress is now making sure that their own staffs will be exempt from the ACA.

You're a liar, Fred...But I would expect nothing less from you...

Right-Wing Media's Latest Zombie Myth: Congress Is "Exempt" From Obamacare

FactCheck.org: No ‘Special Subsidy’ for Congress

Myth of Congress' Obamacare exemption

Just another one in the daily onslaught of outright lies by the TeaBaggers, since they don't have any TRUTH to back them up. But hey, since you never post any sources for anything, you keep settin' 'em up, and I'll keep knockin' 'em down...

Wanna throw some more lies out there...? (Unless, of course, you have some valid sources to back them up?)

Totally agree with what you said, as Obamacare was originally written, Congress wasn't exempt, but some are now trying to change that. (Easy to pass a bill when you don't let people read it like the congressional staffers getting screwed.)
