What might 'missons' be?

Civil Air Patrol does search and rescue missions, disaster assistance missions etc where they use aircraft to assist with these. The missions are authorized by the US Air Force, and paid for by same. Civil Air Patrol is not military though. Adults and kids age 12 and not reached their 19th birthday can join. The biggest part of CAP is education and training for young adults.

"Not only did the Civil Air Patrol spot 173 U-Boats, they attacked 57 of them, resulting in two kills, reported 91 ships in distress, assisted in rescuing 363 survivors of U-Boat attacks, and reportd 17 floating mines" From Wiki:

You have about as much creditability as a three dollar bill, no one with any sense believes anything you post. Crawl back under your rock where you belong.

I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.

"Any man who thinks he can be happy and prosperous by letting the Government take care of him; better take a closer look at the American Indian." - Henry Ford

Corruptissima re publica plurimae leges; When the Republic is at its most corrupt the laws are most numerous. - Publius Cornelius Tacitus

After the war, a thankful nation understood that Civil Air Patrol could continue providing valuable services to both local and national agencies. On July 1, 1946, President Harry Truman signed Public Law 476 incorporating Civil Air Patrol as a benevolent, nonprofit organization. On May 26, 1948, Congress passed Public Law 557 permanently establishing Civil Air Patrol as the auxiliary of the new U.S. Air Force. Three primary mission areas were set forth at that time: aerospace education, cadet programs, and emergency services.

But he did wear a CAP , or something like that. :fwave:

While my friends were in the Boy Scouts building Pinewood derby cars I was flying missions in CAP, and at no time in my life did I consider signing my life away to the Air Force. I'm a free thinker, and this is my one and only life

Not likely, I served in CAP, attained the rank of Capt, had to quit because I made a choice between CAP and the VFW. I chose the VFW. You on the other hand continue to lie and get caught.
