I don't know whether you had an opportunity to read the comment section regarding this article. I found the following comment spot on.
"Another article to cause fear in the American public. While anosmia is part of Covid symptoms, it is FAR from unique to this particular virus. Virtually all upper respiratory viruses can cause loss of smell. This includes the common cold. It is NOT unique to Covid. Oh, by the way, I am a practicing Board Certified Otolaryngologist for the past 40 years.

Bravo Brian Sims, the acting is Oscar worthy. " Experts were early predicting over 2 million deaths and 81 million effected. To date we have 139,000 deaths and 3.5 million effected. New deaths have dropped for 85 straight days. Monday's new deaths was the lowest since 3/29. Trump sets in place a travel ban on 1/31 when the US had 7 cases and is called a racist. The first week in February, China was saying it was not contagious and the WHO stated it was not spreading as rapidly as feared. He declares a national emergency after 49 Americans have been killed. Obama called for a national emergency in 2009 with the swine flu after 11,000 die. The Democrats have three debates in February and not one candidate mentioned Covid-19. Cuomo makes his first public statement about the virus on March 1st. He is being hailed the coronavirus hero and even a presidential candidate for his delay. NY has 25% of the deaths.
