About 15 years ago, the owner of a tower I rented had a contract tower monkey welding some rust spots. He fell 60 feet after welding though his nylon safety harass (nylon, are you kiddin me?). Blood test taken at the hospital revealed he was high on MJ and alcohol. Broke his back in several places. He probably never climbed again and the state didn't pay his disability claims.

Yeah, there are a lot of really stupid people out there. You don't meet many towermonkeys that are stupid and can still walk. I quit climbing years ago because I am too freggin old to climb (wife's claim, not mine).

Those that serve in the military are some of the brightest, smartest people in the world. We were not and are not brainwashed nor do we enlist to "kill each other". But again you run your mouth, have no knowledge of the military, never served a day in your lousy life.
