Probably, VL. Kids emulate what they see. And that makes a second lie - it's not up to you to decide if her husband's appreciation of her body is abuse - in fact, it's not. Not even close. And if he chooses to proudly express that appreciation in a public manner, then good for him. Too many men show no appreciation for their wives at all - public or private.
