No we have to use the 'Opening line' which is the second column. It never changes. So look at that one for your picks.

So your Chicago is -1.5 and according to VL, now that you posted it, you can't change it even if the team dies in a plane crash.
I gotta say one thing though. VL does have a point (did I really say that???) You can't argue about the line being something else at some point in time. This one never changes, so you can always see it. There will be no argument about "the line was "x" when I picked it!!!"
