I take the sworn testimony of experienced investigators reviewing the actual evidence with the carefully considered opinion of the top prosecutor in the state that it is highly likely that the facts and testimony will support a verdict of guilty of second degree murder.

or....Zimmerman is innocent because the racist conservatives and haters on FOX news and talk radio say he is. Gee RT.... what have we accomplished with that little exercise?
I don't suppose you have a link to somebody at FOX who stated that Zimmerman is innocent???
PS, you're batting .0000 so far....there's a chance Zimmerman's defense will be accepted and the case will be thrown out before there's a trial - a very very thin chance. By all means, keep insisting the straws you grasp at are stronger than they are - we know you'll never quit, and you'll never admit you were wrong - your ego would implode if you ever admitted to others (or yourself) that your pompous pontifications are built upon a foundation of dry decomposing horse sh!t.
I still don't understand why you give every benefit of the doubt to this guy. Your past never gave the benefit of the doubt to anyone...you gettin' old?...soft?...growing into a bleeding heart? You've preached "personal responsibility" for years, but now you strain and contort to find ANY excuse to relieve Zimmerman of his responsibility for creating this mess...what gives?
Hopefully some people are realizing the tremendous reponsibilities associated with CCW and playing Dirty Harry.
You mean the phantom witness that swore that Trayvon was on Zimmerman's chest?...(causing all those wounds to his head and the broken nose that nobody seems to be able to confirm?)

Just curious, have you ever served on a jury in a criminal case?
I've been on three criminal juries (nothing recent), not that it makes me an expert. But in my experience, the prosecution presented its case first and after watching that the defendant appeared to be guilty as hell because we only heard one side.
Next, the defense presented their case and your opinion may start to change. But both sides present stuff that may or may not be torn to shreds later with witnesses and cross examination.
What you posted was totally one sided from the prosecution. Hopefully they will have much more evidence in trial to support their charge of 2nd degree murder, but we haven't seen it yet, nor did that statement present any of the other evidence from the same night that might support the defense.
I'm just very surprised you are taking a stand like this. To be consistent, will you take the same stand when you just hear what the prosecution says in a case where you think the defendant is innocent?
I'll wait to listen to both sides. At this point I do think Zimmerman did screw up by following Martin (as I've said before), but I don't know how that applies to the law in Florida.
It will be an interesting trial. I just hope things cool down by the time it starts...
A couple of new developments, the judge has recused herself because her husband works for CNN and it does look like they may let Zimmerman post bond. I am really surprised by the possible bond posting. I think he would have a high probabllity of flight risk.
