Well that is misleading....how can you lump legal and illegal immigrants together? Are those legal immigrants citizens? They certainly could be. When did we start distinguishing between kinds of citizens? Why didn't they show numbers for just illegals? Too many questions to make any issue over this.
The definition of immigrant is generally one who leaves a country to take up permanent residence in another country. An immigrant is an immigrant regardless of whether they gain citizenship in their new country of residence.

The article quoted clearly includes both legal and illegal immigrants, because of their ability to move where the jobs are. But since the article included illegals my statement is correct that your tax dollars are supporting illegals.

Where does this "report" state that tax dollars are supporting illegals? It merely states that it appears that more immigrants, either legal or illegal, are becoming employed. It does not state that those jobs are a result of taxpayer dollars, it does not state that taxpayer dollars are supporting illegals. The article does state that it is probably a result of immigrants being more mobile, thus willing to move to locations where jobs are more plentiful, that the increase in jobs are in sectors that natives are less likely to be interested, such as agricultural, and that natives may prefer to use up their unemployment benefits before reentering the workforce.

Again, where does the article state that illegal immigrants are being supported by tax dollars? Are you saying that all jobs are created by the government? That private sector hiring has not increased? I disagree.
