Benghazi: People Died Obama Lied

12 Nov 2012 09:58 #61 by Raees
*April 18, 1983: Bombing of U.S. Embassy in Beirut. Sixty-three people were killed, including 17 Americans.

*Oct. 23, 1983: Bombing of Marine barracks in Beirut. A suicide bomber blew detonated a truck full of explosives at a U.S. Marine barracks; Two hundred and forty-one U.S. Marines were killed.

* Sept. 20, 1984: Bombing of U.S. Embassy annex. In Aukar, northeast of Beirut, a truck bomb exploded outside the U.S. Embassy annex killing 24 people, two of whom were U.S. military personnel.

In less than 18 months under Reagan, more than 320 people were killed by terrorist attacks on the U.S. Embassy in and around Beirut. And after the third attack, which killed two Americans, Reagan refused to curtail his campaign for re-election (which he won in a rout) even for one day.

But today, the deaths of four Americans killed during the assault on the Libyan consulate has some conservatives demanding Obama be tried for treason.

Supposedly the FBI spent more time searching Petraeus's biographer's house than they did investigating where the Libyan ambassador died.

The FBI has no jurisdiction or offices in Libya. But you knew that.

Hey dumbass, we are talking about the hear and now. What a lot of folks are asking for is a full investigation into the events and why 4 Americans died while government officials in DC watched. Why a Navy Seal painted a target with lazer then nothing happened. Get your damn facts straight. Most people with common sense and others already know what happened back then. This is now. I have yet to read or hear of anyone wanting Obama tried for Treason, but I do want full accountability for what happened by whoever failed to provide the proper support. I also want all the timelines put together so someone up there can sync them together. Then there is idiots like you that think it is OK what happened. Its not ok, somewhere the system and someone failed, and the truth needs to be told, and those who screwed up, need to be held accountable. Is that simple enough for you to understand.

The sentries at the gate were operating under rules of engagement which made it very difficult to respond quickly to the truck. Sentries were ordered to keep their weapons at condition four (no magazine inserted and no rounds in the chamber). By the time the two sentries were able to engage, the truck was already heading towards the building's entry way

Then why did they go? The FBI has precedent investigating crimes commited against Americans overseas. And are sometimes invited by our allies to help them solve crimes overseas.

Broadwell told an audience at DU that there was a secret CIA prison at Benghazi?

"Now I don't know if a lot of you heard this, but the CIA annex had actually -- had taken a couple of Libyan militia members prisoner and they think that the attack on the consulate was an effort to try to get these prisoners back. So that's still being vetted," she said.

The CIA denied her statement, but what would you expect them to do? She also may have leaked classified info in that statement.

She also said "The challenging thing for General Petraeus is that in his new position he is not allowed to communicate with the press. So he's known all of this, they had correspondence with the CIA station chief in Libya. Within 24 hours they kind of knew what was happening."

So if they did a through investigation maybe all will be brought out, then again if the CIA lied as you stated, maybe the whole admin is lying.

There's a difference between what they say in public and what they say behind closed doors in secret testimony, I think.

Replied by CC on topic Benghazi: People Died Obama Lied
There must be something REALLY serious that they are trying to deflect with all this Petraeus stuff that they would be willing to throw the biggest brass in the military to the wolves.....can't wait for all this to evolve.

So NOW there's a new element: a shirtless FBI agent who sent topless photos of himself to the other, other woman. It seems the shirtless FBI agent is the same guy who contacted House Republicans, complaining the investigation was stalled (he had been taken off the case when they found his photos in the other, other woman's email.
